Hays Daewoud has been studying Martial Arts for over 15 years. He initially studied Karate & Hapkido, until he met Mick Spinks & started training at Double Dragon.
Hays's uncle, George Zakaria was one of the first Australians to compete in a Kickboxing match with leg kicks in the country. George is the main reason Hays began training in the arts & was very pleased when Hays chose Mick Spinks as his mentor. Read more...

Haden has been training at Double Dragon Kickboxing for 10 years. He won the New South Wales ISKA Light Heavyweight title in 2004. Haden has been studying
Kick Boxing Thai Boxing & boxing for 7 years and instructing for 3.He won the State ISKA Light Heavyweight title in 2004 and has had the experience 8 Kickboxing fights.

Will Soulos started training at Double Dragon in 1984. Before this Will had a 2nd degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. Will had also trained boxing and was keen for a new, dynamic direction in his Martial Arts. Will now uses his skill and experience, teaching the Boxing Skill & Fitness class at Double Dragon & passing his experience on to the students. Read more...

Rowan is a talented and driven kickboxer who is passing on his passion to students. Rowan is one of the most disciplined athletes in the gym, his regimented training culminated in him winning the WKA Australian welterweight title in 2009. Rowan is now an integral part of what we do at Double Dragon.

Ali has been training Kung Fu, Kickboxing & Boxing for over 20 years. His original training, for four years was with Micks Master, Sifu Chan Cheuk Fai. He started training at Double Dragon in 1988, he trained & competed in the late 80’s and 90’s winning the N.S.W. Welterweight Title.
'Big Al' as he is known in the gym, is the assistant coach to the fighters, passing on his extensive experience & skill to the kickboxing team at Double Dragon. Ali is Mick's second in the corner with the fighters & is a significant part of the Double Dragon competition team.

Adam has been learning Kung Fu since 1994 and achieved the Grade of “1st Kyu” in Dec 2008.
Adam says his Martial Arts have provided him a path to a better way of life. His aim is to pass the knowledge of Martial Arts given to him onto others.
Passionate about Martial Arts kata, traditional Kung Fu forms, weaponry and full contact sparring. Adam looks forward to continuing the Jin Wu Koon style for years to come.

Lu has been learning Kung Fu from Mick Spinks for over 21 years. He is one of only 2 of Micks Kung Fu students who has graded to red sash.
Lu also holds a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Lu runs his own Law firm & says that the Kung Fu has kept him mentally and physically balanced in his extremely stressful Life.

Mikaila has been training various Martial Arts since 1995, and training at Double Dragon since 2001. Training kung fu and kickboxing, Mikaila has had 6 kickboxing fights, winning the ISKA NSW Oriental Rules title in June 2008.
As well as being a fierce competitor, Mikaila is a skilled instructor, assisting in the kung fu class, and teaching the women’s kickboxing and kids kung fu classes.
