Hays Daewoud has been studying Martial Arts for over 15 years. He initially studied Karate & Hapkido, until he met Mick Spinks & started training at Double Dragon.

Hays's uncle, George Zakaria was one of the first Australians to compete in a Kickboxing match with leg kicks in the country. George is the main reason Hays began training in the arts & was very pleased when Hays chose Mick Spinks as his mentor.

Will Soulos started training at Double Dragon in 1984. Before this Will had a 2nd degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. Will had also trained boxing and was keen for a new, dynamic direction in his Martial Arts. Will now uses his skill and experience, teaching the Boxing Skill & Fitness class at Double Dragon & passing his experience on to the students.

Ali has been training Kung Fu, Kickboxing & Boxing for over 20 years. His original training, for four years was with Micks Master, Sifu Chan Cheuk Fai. He started training at Double Dragon in 1988, he trained & competed in the late 80’s and 90’s winning the N.S.W. Welterweight Title.

'Big Al' as he is known in the gym, is the assistant coach to the fighters, passing on his extensive experience & skill to the kickboxing team at Double Dragon. Ali is Mick's second in the corner with the fighters & is a significant part of the Double Dragon competition team.

Nick trained 2 years of Kempo Karate before heading to Double Dragon. Martial Arts, health and fitness are a passion for Nick.

He has a blue belt in Machado Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and achieved his goal in 2005 winning the NSW welterweight kickboxing title and maintaining his unbeaten record of 5 fights 5wins.

Haden has been training at Double Dragon Kickboxing for 10 years. He won the New South Wales ISKA Light Heavyweight title in 2004. Haden has been studying
Kick Boxing Thai Boxing & boxing for 7 years and instructing for 3.He won the State ISKA Light Heavyweight title in 2004 and has had the experience 8 Kickboxing fights.

Haden’s Favourite Kickboxer is Maurice Smith, World Heavy weight Kickboxing, Thai Boxing and UFC champion. He started training initially just to stay fit but still enjoys the complete training program that kickboxing offers.

Assistant Jin Wu Koon Kung Fu instructor.
Lu has been learning Kung Fu from Mick Spinks for over 21 years.
He is one of only 2 of Micks Kung Fu students who has graded to red sash.

Lu also holds a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Lu runs his own Law firm & says that the Kung Fu has kept him mentally and physically balanced in his extremely stressful Life

Anthony’s Martial Arts training, extends a period of over fourteen years. He has trained with a number of masters during that period. He is an experienced instructor (“Guro”) in arnis/kali. Anthony continues to train and develop his own effective traditional version of these fighting arts.

Briefly, his other achievements include: -
• Master Instructor in TaeKwonDo (WTF) with International Accreditation;
• Accredited coach;
• Qualified referee;
• Kickboxing Instructor; and
• A number of State, National and International Titles gained at various major tournaments.

Shane is a coach in the Kickboxing and Dragon Fist Freestyle classes. Shane is very passionate about kickboxing and fitness, and has had several fights. Shane also has a Certificate 4 in Fitness.
