DRAGON FIST FREESTYLE
Dragon Fist Freestyle (DFF) is a physical and mental development programthat draws on an array of combat methods, traditional martial arts valuesand models.It is a 10 level-graded curriculum that encourages and assists students in gaining practical skills that can be applied in realistic situations.
Freestyle training was pioneered by martial arts legend Bruce Lee after he perceived the need for constructing an integrated self-defence formula to suit people’s varied interests & needs.
The effectiveness of freestyle combat is clearly highlighted by UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) contenders that incorporate punching & kicking with grappling & wrestling techniques.
Dragon Fist Freestyle involves:
- Three levels of Boxing/Kickboxing/Thai Boxing giving a practical skill & fitness base.
- Three levels of Ground Combat, Brazilian Ju Jitsu, submission sparring & street practical Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, adding a strong element of self-defence which is extremely practical in the security industry.
- Advanced levels which take in open-hand Kung Fu techniques, as well as knife/stick fighting and Traditional Martial Arts weaponry.
